BG and Arl Hts cops covering for Palatine cops
Chief Koziol

hummmmm..... can any one help this person, who sent me this email?
Hello Mike, I've been reading your blog/posts now and then, and am appalled at the corruption in Palatine! I understand that cops stick together, along with most politicians. You are just a "voice in the wilderness." If I were you, I'd move ! My son was arrested by the Palatine Task Force on April 28, 1993. He was wisked away in an unmarked car, taken to a secret location somewhere in Palatine, interrogated and beaten on and off for 33 hours. My son was an 18 year old kid at the time. Those idiots actually thought he "did the Browns Chicken murders"!! Why? Because someone told them he did it ! NO EVIDENCE. He was never allowed a phone call, or any of his Miranda rights. He never signed anything. There was no video tape, no confession, NOTHING. The two cops who violated his rights were a Sgt. Koziol and a deputy John Robertson. Robertson did most of the punching and slapping. Koziol did the kicking. Both were screaming in his face for many hours! MY QUESTION to you is this: Because you seem to keep such meticulous records of things, people and events in that area, by any chance (any chance at all?) I wonder if you would know the names of any people who could have been in the building where my son was interrogated on April 28 & 29, 1993 ? Any chance at all? We are looking for anyone, preferably not a cop, or if a cop, an honest one, who would be willing to speak with us. Perhaps a custodian or clerk working during those 33 hours? Perhaps someone who is no longer a cop? or retired since then? The cops covered a 2-way mirror with a cloth, so no one in that building could see what was going on in the interrogation room. BUT if any other honest citizen was in the building at that time, they may know something. (our hope) We're not sure where they took our son, but he didn't think it was the police station. He said it looked like a brick elementary school building. Yet inside were interrogation rooms and some jail cells, so perhaps it wasn't a school--but this is what he remembers. They were secretive about this location because they were hiding him from the news media and any lawyers who could have intervened. They would have arrived about 3:00 p.m. on April 28, 1993. He didn't leave that building until 10:45 p.m. on April 29th. Thank you for any information you may have. If you know anything, I will try very hard to keep your name out of things. |
PLEASE, how about getting drunk cops off the road?

| .FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz. (AP) - Stun gun maker Taser International has unveiled its first new stun gun since 2003, a device that can shock three people without reloading. Older Taser models now used by law enforcement agencies and civilians throughout the country have to be reloaded after one shot, which can be a problem for an officer who has missed a target or has more than one suspect to subdue |

Nicholas Pieri, the 29-year-old Palatine man hit by a Palatine police squad car early Saturday, has been upgraded from critical to serious condition, a spokeswoman for Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge said Thursday. The Buffalo Grove Police Department is conducting part of the investigation, which Police Cmdr. Steve Husak hopes to turn over to Palatine police within a few days. He said Buffalo Grove authorities investigated the accident scene, while Palatine authorities focused on interviewing the police officer and victim. .

The villages of Glenview and Palatine face a civil action stemming from Lacey and Ballog's murder. Lacey's estate claimed she was promised protection by Glenview and Palatine police officers who allegedly failed to prevent the murders.
Both communities successfully argued before a lower court that the Tort Immunity Act made them immune from prosecution in the civil case, but last year the Illinois Supreme Court disagreed and allowed the civil suit to move forward.

Baker is another one of Mullins goon squad
he is a living nightmare to local merchants another jerk.
Believe me when I say I'm not talking to cops, CEO's, corporate heads, politicians, generals, world leaders, but the guy at the auto parts store, guy at the supply house, the guy at home depot, the guy loading trucks, the ups driver, fed x driver, the waitress.
Instead of nabbing one of his buddies, staggering out of a bar, he is busy nailing landscapers for license plate lights or to many lawn mowers on a trailer or nabbing some one driving to the village recycle area with 1 to many bags of grass clippings in the back of a pick up or pulling over a plumber 12 times, just to show who is boss (personally I think it was for a pay off, in order to stop harassing the plumber).
He is right there looking for a cash on a pull over (that is what he did to my brother, who spent 20 years in the military, he did not know what to do when Baker hit him for a pay off, so the first week back from his 20 years and he is going to spend time in cook county jail, because he would not pay off baker). The scales at Jim Schwantz's moving company is right there in the middle of this. Maybe baker was at the bar, pounding down shots when Jim was having his kick off party. I would bet more than a few of Bakers comrades were there getting wasted.
Maybe if Baker would speak Spanish, road side payments would increase.
On one hand, the village is driving people out that aren't coming back,
then
On the other hand welcoming bar traffic to egress and ingress freely.
Maybe the new mayor wants some of the shake down money.
