On a good week end (what ever that means), a easy 25,000 to 50,000 alcoholic drinks were served in down town Palatine. 2 or 3 blocks from city hall, the police station.
There are smoking restriction laws. You can't smoke, 1 smoke and you're in trouble, but serving 50,000 alcoholic drink is OK. Don't sound right to me.
This is apart of the master design for Palatine by the elected powers at hand. This is something else that seems fishy.
Oh, and a bigger police station with more crooked cops, more false evidence, more torture of citizens, more cops driving down the wrong side of the road, more cops mauling down kids, to bust more people, sadly with mayor, council, judicial, D.A., attorney general, governor, state senator, presidential aproval.
I have been worried about the mental health of people running the village, for some time.
Any of one think of preventive measures? Instead of helping people break the law, help em not to break the law.
We have seen in the past that the village council lies to the citizens and then threaten to throw them in jail for complaining. The village citizens should demand better, higher quality of reorientation.
How many DUI's, DWI's, accidents, injuries, deaths occurred due to this?
Who Did anything to prevent 1 person, any one from getting into their car, with a B.A.C. level? At a B.A.C level that is not arrestable?
I am not saying cut drinking, alcoholism is very serious, the city council probably has no idea what it is.
Letting some one commit this crime is a crime, letting some one drive drunk is a crime.
I would suggest getting a hold of Dan and his co-councilors at Haymarket, right down the road Hicks and 62 and get some education http://www.hcenter.org/ . The could give any one a head up as to the deadly disease of alcoholism.
Then add to the city's web site - a drug prevention and help section.
What has Palatine done to ensure people PREVENT drunk driving.
The mayor, village council, police department has done nothing but lip service (if that).
They only want to hold babys and get their picture taken, praise one another.
Well it's Sunday, they all went to church, got blessed, sins washed (probably with a hang over), now they are blessed by the church and can continue for another week.
I contacted every (I think, might have missed 1 or 2) church in Palatine, I doubt if they give a dam, as long as money keeps flowing in, they don't care, re;drew petersons wife is a perfect example.
I care, and I think there are others.
