Not only do they lie to the courts and public, they lie amongst them self's, they can't even trust one and another, pathetic. A cop don't know if another cop is telling the truth, a fireman don't know if another fireman is telling the truth, a fireman don't know if the cop is telling the truth, then we add the city council, who to trust there, the mayor, department head, guys in the field. One big happy team. I think honesty is the best policy. I wounder, if some one did something to another, in this happy family, if they would be so happy. There is no place to go, because the dirt starts at the top, then filters down. You are stuck, so you might as well take what ever is dished out. I'm not and I don't have to and I'm not.
Another reason, I blog, is because, many can't, that would like to. I think there are some good people working in town, but they can't say anything because of retaliation.
Lt. Forten (maybe he is a captain now) should have put his foot down with this crap, but it goes to show you what a spineless creature he is also (and, I thought once, he was OK, that goes to show you, how dumb I was, but maybe he once was, once upon a time?). I gave Nick a packet of documents, to give to him regarding ethic and criminal concerns, years ago. The same packet I gave others, one which ended up in one or more Illinois Supreme court justice's hands.
I am happy to say, Nick paid his bill.
This fire department lost my respect when they forced the plumbing inspector to ignore public health concerns, and allowing a non licensed plumber, a fire man, to do some major commercial plumbing work, for pay. Harry's wife was sick, Harry needed the health coverage, ended his plumbing business to be a plumbing inspector. This sounds like extortion to me.
How the fire department applies similar activities, such as false documents and perjury, to their business and gets away with it, is unbelievable.
The worst part, is that this post ring true with every department, branch, park district, township, school district.
Can't find one person that will say, let's be honest, worthy of respect, lets honor, our oath, ethics and responsibilities, lets be good citizens and set a example that we can be proud of, lets help or neighbors, lets look at problems and solve them.
Kids these days and when we were growing up, heard and knew of such activity, every day it gets worse and worse. A lot of us developed a attitude of, "if they do it, I'll do it", this is a endless cycle of the same. Nothing in this world will get better, until we start being responsible human beings. We all need some type of therapy or something to put a end to this before it destroys us. Look at the way things are now. It's been going on unstoppable for a long time.
The powers at hand can do what ever they want to me, because I preach for honor, respect, honesty, helping one and another, kindness to others. But silencing me, will not make anything, go away. The higher powers to be, has allowed humans to destroy our self's (since the beginning of recorded time), but I don't think the corruption I blog about is in the global, heavens, cosmos's, best will.
I think the new mayor Schwantz is all for this crap, maybe that is pisses me more than normal, his father all my life, I've known him was not of this casting, but now that his son is mayor, his kid can't do wrong, high on the hog. By the way, Bill gave me some pocket change a few times when I came back from Arizona (some others did the same, some others helped me out in other ways). That is my philosophy also, help others if you can. Things have been tougher than tough, slower then heck, I did a job for his shop land lord and asked him to give Bill $250, which should be enough for a payback
